The client published one "refresher" compliance course a year for over 3,000 employees. And, if any new policies needed emphasis, the client requested a new course for the new policies. During some years, the learners needed to take two or more compliance e-learning courses. The challenge? Making lots of content interesting and engaging. For a course on preventing harassment, insider trading, and other illegal workplace actions, the client needed to cover laws and regulations, and then assess the learners' knowledge. For a multiple choice "Did he/she do the right thing?" assessment, I placed the Sandy and Bill SWF on the left side of the ToolBook page, and located the multiple choice activity on the right side of the page. The client liked how this design condensed content. The learners didn't have to read the scenario on one page, then click Next to go to the corresponding assessment question.
